 Why the nickname “Zissou”? For starters, my oddball colleagues just jump on any opportunity to goof around, and the fact that I am an oceanographer leading corporate innovation in all sectors of activity, such as grid-scale energy storage, tuberculosis diagnostics, space exploration, healthcare and brain-computer interface technology is a never-ending source of amusement to them.
